If
you’ve ever wondered the most commonly traveled commercial airline routes in
the U.S., I’ve got them. And what about
in the world? I’ve got that, too.
According to Amadeus, a company that
provides technology to the travel industry and tracks the cities where
passengers start and end their travels, the busiest airline route in the world
is Juju (a South Korean island)-Seoul, South Korea. Out of the 15 busiest commercial airline
routes listed in the graph below, 11 are routes between Asian destinations.
While
the U.S. did not make this list, nor in fact did North America in general, the
three busiest American routes were tracked as well. The busiest is New York-Chicago, followed by
New York-Fort Lauderdale, and finally New York-Los Angeles.
